Definition

Carob molasses is a liquid sweetener made from pure carob pod. It may contain added sugar, preservatives, or other ingredients depending on manufacturer. Carob molasses is a popular ingredient in Lebanon and the Middle East and pairs well with tahini. See: carob powder
