Styrian Gold pumpkin seed oil is a dark green, unrefined oil produced exclusively from the seeds of Styrian Gold pumpkins in the Steiermark province of Austria.

Health considerations

Styrian Gold oil is, like other pumpkin seed oils, predominantly linoleic and oleic acids (49% and 33% respectively), with smaller amounts of palmitic, stearic, and myristic fatty acids. Styrian oil is a moderate source of vitamin E, vitamin A, various carotenoids, and iodine. Styrian Gold oil may be beneficial in managing precancerous growth of prostate tissue and urinary incontinence, and may have an antiestrogenic effect by preventing conversion of testosterone to an estrogen.
